I was born in Malaysia, a place full of colours, nature and rituals. My artistic journey began there, but it found its true direction in the aesthetics of Japan. Even before living in the country, I felt deeply connected to its simplicity, its symbolism, and the quiet poetry hidden in everyday gestures.
Discovering Sumi-E changed everything for me. It taught me presence, patience, and the beauty of expressing an entire world with just a few strokes. As I continued to grow as an artist, I expanded into watercolour and other art forms, but the Japanese spirit—clarity, restraint, respect for the moment—remained at the heart of everything I created.
Today, living in Luxembourg, I paint and teach from this blend of influences. My work moves fluidly between ink, watercolour, and mixed media, yet always carries the same guiding principles: simplicity, sincerity, and the courage to leave space for the viewer—and for the unexpected. Japan continues to inspire me daily, reminding me that art is a way of being present with the world.
I share my practice through intimate workshops, inviting others to slow down, connect, and experience the meditative elegance of ink and brush.
